Test: Stress test (PSS-10)
Stress is a natural part of life, it’s your body’s way of giving you an extra boost of energy and focus when you’re in a hurry or facing a challenge. If there is too much stress over a long period, it can affect your health. The stress test helps you find out if your stress levels are likely to have a negative impact on you. Based on your answers, you will receive a score on a scale from low to high stress. The PSS-10 is a measurement tool often used in healthcare to measure perceived stress.
Take the testInterpret your result.
The PSS-10 consists of ten questions, with each answer scoring 0-4 points. In the scale below, you can interpret your stress level based on how many points you have accumulated. The PSS-10 was originally developed by Cohen, S., Kamarck, T., & Mermelstein, R. (1983). For source: A global measure of perceived stress.

Low stress levels
Based on your answers, you have a low stress level. Stress is an important bodily function that gives us extra energy and focus when we need it. As long as you are able to recover between stressful situations, stress is not negative but a natural part of life.

Medium level of stress
Based on your answers, your stress level is medium which can affect your well-being and energy. If stress lasts for a long time, it can have negative consequences on your physical and mental health and therefore it is important to find ways to manage stress as early as possible.

High stress level
Your answers suggest that you have a high level of stress which can negatively affect your physical and mental health and it lasts for a long period of time. It is common to experience sleep problems, fatigue and difficulty concentrating when stress levels are too high. If you don’t get recovery and balance, stress can lead to exhaustion, so it’s important to take the signs of excessive stress seriously.
