Meela Give Back Program
A collaboration with Beder.
This programme provides free therapy sessions for people who otherwise wouldn’t have access.
It is delivered in partnership with Beder, a charity dedicated to raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention through thoughtful events and initiatives. Together, we share the belief that support should be available before someone reaches a breaking point. Through Meela’s Give Back Program, we support Beder’s mission by providing access to professional therapy, matched carefully to each individual. The partnership exists to remove financial barriers, reduce stigma, and make it easier for people to take the first step towards support.
Why Beder?
Beder is working hard to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide prevention, stimulate a dialogue to softly raise awareness and provide a platform for us all to play our part in normalising the conversation around these important societal issues.
Beder was founded by Razzak Mirjan and his family in November 2019 following the loss of Beder Mirjan who sadly took his own life at the age of 18 in April 2017.

Words from our Founder, Tiffany.
“At Meela, we see every day how many people want support but never reach it. Not because they don’t want help, but because cost, stigma, or fear of being misunderstood stand in the way.
Partnering with Beder feels deeply aligned with why Meela exists. We share the belief that access to therapy should not depend on privilege, and that finding the right therapist matters just as much as finding one at all.
This collaboration is about removing barriers and making sure people are met with care, competence, and respect from the very first session.”
