Meela’s co-founder and co-CEO Natali Suo has been invited to the Sleep Podcast by Learning to Sleep to discuss and share her personal experiences with stress and sleep, alongside psychologist Rebecca Ribbing. Natali Suo has suffered from stress-related mental health issues and was clinically exhausted at the age of 25. In episode 2 of the Sleep Podcast, titled Stress, Exhaustion & Recovery, Natali shares her insights on stress and exhaustion from the difficult period in her life – and what she has learned since then.

Meela, one of 14 femtech startups to watch

Meela has been chosen as one of fourteen European femtech startups to watch, selected by some of Europe’s leading investors. According to the investors, Meela is one of the companies that will change the game in the near future. Among the companies are those focused on menstrual health, sexual well-being, and those addressing menopause issues.
When investors were asked to name a startup they believe is worth watching, they were not allowed to mention a company already in their portfolio. Meela was mentioned by Lucanus Polagnoli, founder and Managing Partner at Calm/Storm Ventures.

Six companies pitched at this year’s Female Founders, and Tiffany Boswell, co-founder of the Gothenburg-based Meela, won both the jury’s and the audience’s votes.
“I feel incredibly proud. My co-founder Natali and I are working on a real problem that needs a real solution. I’m very humbled by the win, especially as the other women in the pitch competition are absolutely amazing,” says Tiffany Boswell, who shares the CEO role at Meela with Natali Suo.

As recently as October 2022, the company, founded by Tiffany Boswell and Natali Suo, raised 4.5 million SEK from investors including Northzone’s CEO Pär-Jörgen and Annika Sten Pärson’s The Inner Foundation.

Meela Secures €550K to Revolutionise Therapist Matchmaking

Therapist-patient matchmaking platform Meela was founded by Tiffany Boswell and Natali Suo with the mission to help women find their best-fit therapist from day 1. The company launched with €400K in funding in October 2022, and has now raised another €550K from Unconventional Ventures, Calm/Storm Ventures, and existing investor The Inner Foundation to invest in growth.
